McInnis Engineering Attends NAIOPs “Industrial is King” market update luncheon —

The McInnis Engineering team attended NAIOP Washington’s “Industrial is King” luncheon in Tacoma this week. We had the pleasure of listening to some of the industry’s best experts discuss recent industrial development trends and hear their predictions for the future.

This years South Sound industrial update included commentary from broker panelists Wilma Warshak, Principal and Founder of Washington Real Estate Advisors, Vanessa Herzog, Partner at Lee & Associates, and Amy Evans, Senior Vice President at Kidder Matthews. We also heard from developers Bart Brynestad and Travis Hale with Panattoni Development Company, Mark Hosfeld with Duke Realty, Phillip Wood with Dermody Properties, and Justin Carlucci with Bridge Industrial.

The industrial market has taken the lead in all sectors of Real Estate, hence the title of the event. As the year comes to a close, the two part panel reviewed what strategies worked for them in 2022 and what didn’t. With these insights in mind, experts also shared their predictions for 2023.
